Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: 2026-06-25
CookingCalc does not send or store your calculator inputs on any server; all calculations are processed only in your browser.
However, advertising and analytics services such as Google AdSense may use cookies to collect non-personally-identifiable information.
1. Information we collect and do not collect
CookingCalc has no sign-up process and does not request or collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name or contact details. Values you enter into the calculators, such as food, amount, and thickness, are used only within your browser and disappear automatically; they are not transmitted to or stored on our server.
However, the following information may be generated and collected automatically while you use the website.
- Access IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and visit date and time
- Pages visited, the previous page (referrer), and device information
- Anonymous identifiers via cookies and similar technologies
2. Use of cookies
CookingCalc may use cookies to provide the service and display ads. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember your visit history and settings.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your web browser settings. However, blocking cookies may limit some features and ad personalization. Cookie settings can be changed in the settings menu of each browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, and so on).
3. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
CookingCalc displays ads through Google AdSense. Third-party advertising providers, including Google, may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your past visits.
- Google uses advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- You can review and opt out of third-party advertising cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- You can learn how Google processes data on the How Google uses information from sites that use its services page.
4. Analytics tools
We may use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to improve the service. These tools use cookies to collect anonymized statistics such as pages visited and time spent, and they do not identify any individual.
5. Data retention and third-party provision
Because CookingCalc does not directly collect or store your personal data, no separate retention period applies. Automatically collected access information and cookie information are processed and stored according to the policies of the relevant service providers, such as Google. Except as required by law, we do not sell or arbitrarily provide user information to third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right to refuse data collection through your browser cookie settings, and you can disable personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. For inquiries about data handling, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's privacy
CookingCalc is not primarily aimed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
8. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be revised in line with laws or service changes, and any changes will be announced on this page. If there is a significant change, we will update the effective date.
9. Contact
For inquiries about data handling, please contact contact@example.com.
